England skipper Ben Stokes won the toss and elected to bat, but it turned out to be a wrong decision because the pitch favored the bowlers in the 1st innings. Ben Stokes was brilliant as he picked up four wickets for 49 runs, James Anderson also bowled pretty well picking up three wickets. Trailing by 114 runs, England started well as they added 72 runs for the 1st wicket. After that, Rory Burns got out scoring 42 runs, but Dominic Sibley 50 runs and Joe Denly 29 runs continued the excellent work. But it was Zak Crawley who held the innings together by scoring 76 runs, and Ben Stokes supported him at the other end composed 46 runs. In the end, Jofra Archer’s 23 runs helped England to acquire a lead of 199 runs. Shannon Gabriel was once again brilliant with the ball as he picked up five wickets for 75 runs. Roston Chase and Alzarri Joseph bowled well by picking up 2 wickets each. Jason Holder picked up 1 wicket.

4th innings:

With 200 runs to chase, West Indies had a bad start as they lost the wicket of Kraigg Braithwaite for 4 runs and Shamarh Brooks for a duck. They also lost the wicket of Shai Hope for 9 runs. West Indies were 27 runs for 3 wickets, and it looked like they were in deep trouble. But Roston Chase and Jermain Blackwood played well and added 73 runs to the 4th wicket, but Roston Chase got out after scoring 37 runs.
