MS-W vs ST-W Dream11 Prediction and Match Preview: Final, WBBL 2020

MS-W vs ST-W Dream11 Team Prediction | Final | WBBL 2020

Melbourne Stars Women will take on Sydney Thunder Women in the Final of WBBL 2020 at North Sydney Oval, Sydney. We will provide MS-W vs ST-W Dream11 Prediction, Probable Playing XI, and Dream11 Tips.

Melbourne Stars Women:

Stars have been performing brilliantly so far as they finished the league stage at the 1st position on the points table and also won the Semi-Final against Perth Scorchers Women comfortably by seven wickets.

Skipper Meg Lanning opens the innings for Stars and has been batting at a reasonable strike rate. At the same time, Elyse Villani has also provided good support from the other end by batting decently and rotating the strike.

The middle-order of Melbourne Stars Women has appeared to be one of the strongest so far in this season. Mignon du Preez has scored a good amount of runs but has been struggling from the last couple of matches. But the other two players Natalie Sciver and Annabel Sutherland, have been clinical with their performances and finished off contests very well for the team.

Natalie Sciver has been brilliant with her medium-fast bowling and is currently the second leading wicket-taker so far this season. Alana king with her leg-break has troubled many players with her spin and picked up wickets at crucial times. Sophie Day has also been bowling very well, along with Katherine Ferling and Holly Ferling.

Melbourne Stars Women might have finished at the top of the points table and also comfortably won the Semi-Finals, and they appear to be an extreme side. There are high chances that they might go on to win the title this season.

Sydney Thunder Women:

Thunder has performed decently so far as they finished at the 3rd position on the points table and won the thrilling Semi-Final by 12 runs against Brisbane Heat Women.

Tammy Beaumont and Rachel Trenaman open the innings for the Thunder. Trenaman has been batting decently and scoring runs from the top but got out early in the last match and Beaumont who has struggled a lot to score runs this season batted well in the Semi-Finals.

The middle-order has appeared to be reliable with players like Heather Knight, who is one of the top four leading run-scorers so far this season. She has been very well accompanied by skipper Rachael Haynes who batted brilliantly in the Semis falling just short of a well-deserved half-century, and Phoebe Litchfield has appeared to be in good form.

The bowling department has appeared to be better than their batting as the all-rounder Sammy-Jo Johnson has been brilliant with the ball and is currently the leading wicket-taker of the tournament. The other two bowlers Hannah Darlington and Samantha Bates, have been bowling exceptionally well. The right-arm medium-fast bowler Shabnim Ismail and the all-rounder Heather Knight have also been doing their roles very well.

Thunder appears to have a balanced team, and their main strength has been their bowling attack which can rattle any team’s batting. Even though Melbourne Stars Women have played well so far and are the strongest team, the Thunder have a perfect chance of winning their 2nd title in WBBL.
