New Zealand vs India Dream11 Prediction & Preview: 1st T20I

India and New Zealand will collide in the first T20I of the five-match T20I series at Eden Park in Auckland. We will provide IND vs NZ Dream11 Prediction, Probable Playing XI, and Preview.

India

Team India will now collide with the Kiwis in a five-match T20I series at their home turf and prepare for the major competition i.e. World T20 later in this year. They are yet to find success in this format unlike the ODI’s and Tests and will put their best effort to outplay New Zealand team in all the three departments of game.

Shikhar Dhawan has been ruled out of the tour due to injury while Hardik Pandya is still recovering and will be the main absentees in an otherwise strong squad. The fab four Rohit-Rahul-Virat-Iyer will hope to enjoy the batting friendly conditions in New Zealand while the Indian spinners will be eager to exploit the weakness of Kiwis against spin. Wicket-taking pace trio of Bumrah, Shami and Saini will also be crucial for Team India’s victory in this series.

New Zealand

Kiwis have a plenty of batting strength in their squad containing Guptill, Munro, Seifert, Williamson, Taylor and Grandhomme but will miss the services of their key pacers Trent Boult, Lockie Ferguson and Matt Henry who were the key in their victory over India in the World Cup semi-final last year. Tim Southee will have to take the responsibilty in their absence along with spin duo of Ish Sodhi and Mitchell Santner to restrict in-form Indian team.

They recently clashed with England in a similar five-match T20I series at home but ultimately lost the series by 3-2. A disciplined effort will be required from the Blackcaps to impose challenges to well-balanced Indian team.
