REN vs SIX Dream11 Prediction & Preview: 20th Match, BBL 2019-20

Melbourne Renegades will take on Sydney Sixers in the 20th match of Big Bash League 2019-20 at Docklands Stadium in Melbourne. We will provide REN vs SIX Dream11 Prediction, Match Preview, and Fantasy Cricket Tips.

Melbourne Renegades:

The defending champions are having a tough time this season. They have played 4 matches and have lost all the 4 matches and are currently at the bottom of the points table. In the last match, bowling first Renegades couldn’t pick up early wickets and gave away runs. But in the death overs, they bowled well and restricted the opponents to a total of 155 runs. Kane Richardson bowled well and picked up 4 wickets for 33 runs in his 4 overs. Boyce also bowled well and picked up 2 wickets for just 18 runs in his 4 overs.

With 156 runs to chase, it looked an easy task with the batting line up Renegades have. They lost a wicket in 4th over but it didn’t bother the Renegades much and they kept scoring runs at a good run rate. But in the 13th over they lost 3 wickets and especially the wicket of set batsmen Aaron Finch who got out after scoring a brilliant 50. From there it looked impossible to recover and they were able to score only 137 runs in the 20 overs and lost the match by 18 runs. Webster scored 37 runs and showed a little fight but it all went in vain. They would be very desperate to win the next match against the Sydney Sixers and have a win to their name.

Sydney Sixers:

Sydney Sixers have performed well this season and are currently at 4th position with 3 wins and 2 losses and a total of 6 points. In the last match, bowling first Sixers gave away 48 runs in the first overs without any wicket. But after that, they picked up 3 wickets in the next 3 overs and were back into the match. They were able to restrict the flow of runs but couldn’t pick up the wickets till 15th over. They bowled well in the death overs and restricted the opposition to 149 runs. Lloyd Pope bowled well and picked up 3 wickets for 23 runs in his 4 overs. Tom Curran and Sean Abbott picked up 2 wickets each.

With 150 runs to chase, Sixers lost a wicket in the 1st over itself but Daniel Hughes 37 runs and Moises Henriques 41 runs helped Sixers stay in the game even though they lost wickets at regular intervals. In the end, Tom Curran played brilliant innings of 35 runs from just 17 ball. 2 runs were required of the last ball for Sixers and Tom Curran got run out after taking a single and match was tied.

In the Super Over, batting first Sixers lost the wicket of Tom Curran on the first ball but Henriques batted well and helped them to post the target of 17 runs. Tom Curran wad given the responsibility to bowl the super over and he bowled the first 4 balls well and gave away only 5 runs. 12 runs were needed from 2 balls for the Sixers to win the match and they hit a six and 6 runs were needed of the last ball and Curran bowled a good delivery and gave away 4 runs and thus Sixers won the match by 1 run in the Super over. They would want to continue their winning momentum and try to win the match against the Melbourne Renegades.
