REN vs STR Dream11 Prediction & Player Stats: 29th Match | BBL 2020-21

Hello and welcome to our REN vs STR Dream11 Prediction, Probable Playing XI, and Fantasy Cricket Tips. Melbourne Renegades and Adelaide Strikers will be played in the 29th match of the Big Bash League 2020-21 at The Adelaide Oval, Adelaide.

Melbourne Renegades:

The Melbourne Renegades are having a very tough time this season also as they have won only one out of seven matches and are currently at the 7th position on the points table with a total of 5 points. They lost their last game by a significant margin of 96 runs.

Opening batsman Shaun Marsh except for a couple of knocks, has appeared to be struggling, and skipper Aaron Finch has also been batting decently but has not been able to play a big inning so far. Except for one match, Sam Harper and Rilee Rossouw have not been able to score runs in the middle order.

One of the best all-rounders in the T20 format, Mohammad Nabi has also not been able to play big shots down the order, and as a result, the batting unit of the team except for the opening pair is a complete mess.

They tried different batting orders in the last match by promoting Harper and Webster up the order, but even that plan failed as they got all-out for just 89 runs.

The bowlers have not appeared to be in a good rhythm so far this season except for one or two matches. Only Kane Richardson has put up some decent performances so far, and in the last game, Jack Prestwidge and Noor Ahmad were the only bowlers to pick up wickets.

Renegades need to improve their performance on the whole, and they need to win every match from here to keep their hopes of qualifying for the playoffs.

Adelaide Strikers:

They have managed to win three matches out of the seven played so far and are currently at the 4th position on the points table with 13 points. They won their last game by seven wickets.

The opening batsman, Phil Salt, has provided a decent start in some of the matches but got out early in the last game, and his new opening partner Matt Renshaw is still struggling to find his form. Alex Carey also played a couple of good innings so far but appeared to be a little slow in his approach.

Jake Weatherald and Jon Wells batted decently at their new positions, but they were not able to score runs, and as a result, they were not able to post a big total even though they still had wickets in hand.

The bowling unit, which was the main reason for Strikers’ wins this season, fell flat in the last match. The main strike bowlers Peter Siddle, Wes Agar, and Daniel Worrall went wicketless in the previous game. Only Rashid Khan managed to pick up three wickets.

Strikers have been performing decently in their bowling department, but they still have a lot to do in their batting. If Strikers improve their batting, they have a perfect chance of moving up in the points table.
