STR vs STA Dream11 Prediction & Player Stats: 36th Match | BBL 2020-21

Hello and welcome to our STR vs STA Dream11 Prediction, Probable Playing XI, and Fantasy Cricket Tips. Adelaide Strikers and Melbourne Stars will play against each other in the 36th match of the Big Bash League 2020-21 at The Adelaide Oval, Adelaide.

Adelaide Strikers:

Strikers have managed to win four matches out of the nine played so far and are currently at the 4th position on the points table with 17 points. They had to face disappointment in their last game as they lost by 6 wickets.

The opening pair, Phil Salt and Matt Renshaw, have appeared to be getting back in form as they scored 59 runs and 30 runs respectively in the last match. Alex Carey has been batting decently so far, and in the previous game, he batted very well, scoring 42 runs.

Jake Weatherald has been batting brilliantly at his new batting position in the middle-order, and Jon Wells, who has been struggling to score runs so far in this season but batted decently in the last match.

The Strikers’ bowlers once again bowled poorly, which resulted in the opposition chasing down the target easily. Wes Agar and Rashid Khan have been the team’s consistent wicket-takers and are among the top five wicket-takers so far this season. Danny Briggs managed to pick up a wicket in the last match.

Strikers need to perform well in both batting and bowling departments consistently. If they managed to do so, they can move up in the points table and qualify for the playoffs, or else it will tough for them as every team is giving a tough competition this season.

Melbourne Stars:

They have appeared to be struggling after a perfect start to the tournament as they have won 3 out of the eight matches, and one match was abandoned due to rain. Melbourne Stars are now at the 7th position on the points table with a total of 15 points. They had to face disappointment once again as they lost their last match by 18 runs through the DLS method.

Opening batsman Andre Fletcher has not been able to perform and looked completely out of form this season, but his partner Stoinis has been batting well and providing a good start in every match. Nicholas Pooran batted at No.3 in the last game and played a few big shots.

Skipper Maxwell, who has been the most consistent player on the team, got out for a duck in the last match. Cartwright also did not score much and has appeared to be struggling so far in this season. Nick Larkin batted brilliantly, scoring 35* runs from 16 balls but couldn’t win the match.

Adam Zampa has been the most consistent wicket-taker of the team, and Billy Stanlake has seemed to be getting better in every game and has started to pick up wickets consistently but went wicketless in the last match. All the bowlers went wicketless in the previous game except for Zampa and Maxwell.

Stars have been struggling a lot to win matches this season. They have outstanding players on the side, but they have not been able to perform at the right time. Stars still have a perfect chance of qualifying for playoffs if they start winning the remaining matches.
