WI vs SA Dream11 Team Prediction, Playing XI, and Fantasy Cricket Tips for the 5th T20I (3rd July 2021), South Africa tour of West Indies, 2021.

WI vs SA 5th T20I Match Preview

West Indies:

The West Indies have leveled the series 2-2 after a comfortable win in the 4th T20I by 21 runs.

Batting first Lendl Simmons played a wonderful knock of 47 runs. Evin Lewis was brilliant in the 1st game but has not played a big knock after that and scored 7 runs in the last game. Their middle-order again failed to make an impression but lower down the order Kieron Pollard played a brilliant knock of 51 runs which helped the Windies put up a total of 167 runs. Pollard and Allen were fantastic in the death overs and scored 60+ runs in the last 5 overs.

Their bowlers have been clinical all throughout the series. The universe boss Chris Gayle bowled a couple of overs and picked up a wicket and set the tone for the other bowlers. Dwayne Bravo was the pick from the bowlers and picked up 4 big wickets and ended his spell with the figures of 4/19 and proved his worth. Andre Russell played the role of the 5th bowler and did pretty well with the ball and picked up 2 wickets in his 4 overs. Keiron Pollard also bowled 4 overs and picked up a wicket.

With the series on the line, the Windies will try their best to win the series and will look to play their best quality of cricket.

South Africa:

After winning the 2nd and 3rd T20I South Africa fell short of 22 runs in the 4th T20I. Bowling first, they did a decent job by restricting the Windies to a total of 167 runs.

Tabraiz Shamsi was again brilliant with the ball and ended his spell with the figures of 2/13 and was also very economical and continued his good form in this series. George Linde has also been phenomenal in this series and picked up 2 wickets in the last game. Their two main bowlers Kagiso Rabada and Anrich Nortje also bowled well and picked up a wicket each. The form of Lungi Ngidi might be a concern for the team as he went wicketless in the last game and is also been very expensive in this series.

Quinton de Kock has scored the majority of the runs for the team with the bat in this series. He played a fantastic knock of 60 runs in the last game and is also the leading run-scorer in this series by scoring 195 runs. Apart from him, none of the batters were able to play a big innings to take their team over the line. In the middle-order, Rassie did a very good job in the first game but has looked average since then. David Miller has also not looked in a good form in this series.

The Proteas bowling attack looks well sorted and will hope that their batsmen perform a bit more better and help them win the series.
