Hello and welcome to our AUS vs IND Dream11 Prediction, Probable Playing XI, and Fantasy Cricket Tips. Australia and India will clash against each other in the 2nd T20I of the series at Sydney Cricket Ground, Sydney.
After showing dominance in the ODI series, Australia has appeared to struggle a bit in the first match of the T20I series. They were very well in the game for some time in both the innings, but in the end, they let the game slip away making some mistakes and lost the game by 11 runs.
They started their bowling on a good note by picking up some early wickets and never allowed the opposition team to build a big partnership. Moises Henriques was brilliant with the ball as he picked up 3 wickets and also controlled the flow of runs very well.
Starc also bowled but in the end, Australian bowlers went for a lot of runs, and as a result, the opposition scored a total of 160 runs but had the bowlers bowled slightly better then they could have restricted them to 145 runs.
With 160 runs to chase, Finch started scoring boundaries right from the 1st over and never allowed the bowlers to decide their line and lengths. But the other opener D’Arcy Short failed even to maintain a strike-rate of 100 which put pressure on the other batsmen like Finch, Smith who got out trying to play shots.
Maxwell also got out early for a leg before and Henriques who was looking dangerous, and if he had stayed a little longer then he would have taken the team across the line, but he got out at the wrong time, and the match for Australia was almost over.
In the end, Swepson hit big shots but was of no use, and they lost the match by 11 runs. Australia would make some changes in their playing XI and make a comeback in the series by winning the 2nd T20I.
India has been successful in maintaining their winning streak in T20I’s as they have been undefeated in the last 9 matches. Even though they lost the ODI series, they did not let that affect their T20 performance and won the match comfortably by 11 runs.
Shikhar Dhawan and KL Rahul opened the innings for India and Dhawan got out early scoring only 1 run followed by Virat Kohli who also got out for just 9 runs. But KL Rahul batted brilliantly scoring a half-century and tried to stabilize the Indian innings but got out at the wrong time.
At No.4, Sanju Samson played a quick innings scoring 25 runs but next batsman Manish Pandey got out early and couldn’t contribute much. In the lower middle-order Pandya played a couple of big shots but couldn’t finish the innings at a high and got out playing a big shot.
The star of the innings was Jadeja who batted exceptionally well scoring 44* runs from just 23 balls and helped India to post a fighting total of 161 runs.
Defending 161 runs, India did not have a good start with the ball as they went for a lot of runs in the power play without picking up any wicket. But after that Yuzvendra Chahal who had come in the 2nd innings as the concussion substitute for Ravindra Jadeja bowled brilliantly picking up 3 important wickets.
T Natarajan in his T20I debut bowled very well, and he too picked up 3 wickets and impressed everyone with his performance. The other bowlers Washington Sundar bowled very economically but went wicketless, and Mohammad Shami was very expensive.
The spin department will be handled mainly by Yuzvendra Chahal and Ravindra Jadeja, and if any one of them gets injured or doesn’t play well, then Washington Sundar might get a chance to play.
India would want to continue the winning momentum and seal the series by winning the 2nd T20I.
