Dion Myers was born on 1 February 2002 in Harare, Zimbabwe. His full name is Dion Nephy Myers. And he is mainly known for playing international cricket for the Zimbabwe team since 2021 and domestic cricket for the Mountaineers team since 2020.
And he is a right-handed batsman who typically bats in the middle order and he is also a right-arm medium-fast bowler, offering a valuable all-round package to the Zimbabwean team.
Dion Myers Cricket Career
His cricketing journey began with a first-class debut for Mountaineers in December 2020, during the 2020–21 Logan Cup. He made his first-class debut for the Mountaineers team in 2020, While playing against Eagles at Harare. He then made his List A and T20s debut in domestic cricket the following year in 2021.
International Career
Myers’ impressive domestic performances earned him a call-up to the national team in 2021, Myers was included in the Zimbabwean squads for their series against Bangladesh. This series saw him make his debut in all three formats.
