Fabian Allen is a Jamaican professional cricketer known for his explosive batting style and versatile left-arm spin bowling. Born on 7 May 1995, in Kingston, Jamaica, Allen has established himself as a key Batting all-rounder for the West Indies cricket team and has made significant contributions in various formats of the game.
Fabian Allen Domestic Career
He made his first-class debut in the 2016-17 Regional Competition for Jamaica. Allen registered his maiden first-class century by scoring 169 in November 2017 playing for Jamaica. In February 2018, the dashing all-rounder also made his List-A debut in the 2017-18 Regional Super50 cup.
And he has played around 15 first-class games and has scored 776 runs including 2 centuries and 4 half-centuries and has also picked up 15 wickets with the ball. And if we talking about his List-A stats, then he scored around 476 runs in his 36 List A Cricket and has also took 19 wickets with his ball.
Fabian Allen International Career
After his impressive show in the Caribbean Premier League and the domestic circuit he made his ODI debut for West Indies on October 27th, 2018 against India at Pune. He wasn’t that impressive on his debut game as he was dismissed cheaply and also went wicketless with the ball.
And he was also part of the West Indies squad for the 2019 ICC Cricket World Cup which was played in England. He has scored 200 runs with the bat and has picked up 7 wickets with the ball in his 20 One-day matches.
After making his ODI debut, Allen also made his T20I debut against India on 4 November 2018 at Eden Gardens, Kolkata. He looked impressive on his debut as he scored 27 runs off 20 balls batting lower down the order which helped his team win the game by 5 wickets.
And he has played 34 T20Is so far and has scored 267 runs with a strike rate of 136.92 and has also picked up 24 wickets with the ball.

He has been part of the tournament since 2017 and represents St Kitts and Nevis Patriots in the competition. Allen became the talk of the town in the 2017 Caribbean Premier League after his brilliant catch at a deep point went viral on the internet.
The Caribbean all-rounder has been a consistent performer in the league, which also earned him an IPL contract with Sunrisers Hyderabad in 2020. He has played around 16 CPL games and has scored 337 runs with the bat and has also picked up 5 wickets with the ball. And Currently, he is part of the Jamaica Tallawah in the Caribbean Premier League.
After his heroics in the CPL over the years, he was picked up by the Sunrisers Hyderabad at the 2020 IPL auctions and Fabian Allen IPL price is INR 50 lakhs. He did not get to play any game in the 2020 IPL season which was played in Dubai and was later part of the Punjab Kings in IPL 2021.
