Fastest half-century in IPL 2023: In today’s match between Kolkata Knight Riders and Rajasthan Royals, Rajasthan’s top order batter cricketer Yashasvi Jaiswal scored the fastest half-century of IPL history so far. And Jaiswal has done this feat in just 13 balls, in which he has scored total 98 runs with the help of 13 fours and 5 sixes while playing at a strike rate of 208.

And this is the first time since the 2008 IPL season that a batsman has completed a half-century under 13 balls, before this feat, former Punjab Kings batsman Kl Rahul had scored a half-century in just 14 balls in the 2018 IPL season against Delhi Capitals.

Jaiswal hit the fastest half-century of IPL history so far, for Rajasthan Royals against Kolkata Knight Riders in 2023. And he hit 13 fours and five sixes during his innings and finished with an unbeaten 98 off just 47 balls. This innings remains one of the best batting performances in IPL history.

KL Rahul – 14 balls (2018)

KL Rahul’s 14-ball half-century for Kings XI Punjab against Delhi Capitals in 2018 is the fastest in IPL history. He hit seven fours and six sixes during his innings and finished with an unbeaten 51 off just 16 balls. This innings remains one of the best batting performances in IPL history.

Pat Cummins – 14 balls (2022)

Pat Cummins has also scored the fastest half-century in IPL history while playing for Kolkata. And he did this feat in just 14 balls while playing against Mumbai Indians.

Yusuf Pathan – 15 balls (2014)

Yusuf Pathan’s blistering half-century for Kolkata Knight Riders against Sunrisers Hyderabad in 2014 is the second fastest in IPL history. He hit eight sixes and one four during his innings and finished with an unbeaten 72 off just 22 balls.

Sunil Narine – 15 balls (2018)
