Domestic Career
Clarke’s cricketing journey began with Hawke Cup cricket for Waikato Valley during the 2016–17 season. He gained prominence in the 2020 Under-19 Cricket World Cup, notably in a match against the West Indies Under-19 team, where he took 4 wickets for 25 runs and scored an unbeaten 46, earning the Player of the Match award and propelling New Zealand into the semi-finals.
He made his first-class debut for Northern Districts in the 2021–22 Plunket Shield, impressively scoring 63 not out and 11 not out, alongside taking three wickets. His standout performance came in the 2023–24 Plunket Shield against Auckland, where he achieved his best first-class bowling figures of 6 for 45.
