South African Batter Female cricketer Laura Wolvaardt was Born on April 22, 1999, in Cape Town, South Africa, Laura grew up with a passion for sports and took an early interest in cricket. She was only 14 years old when she made her debut for Western Province in state level cricket, and by the age of 16/17, she was started playing for South Africa International team.

If we talk about her cricket career, then she started playing professional cricket only at the age of 11/12, And she started playing international cricket in the year 2016, and for the first time, she was selected for the South Africa Women’s WODI team in Feb 2016 against England. At the age of 13, Wolvaardt began playing domestic cricket with the Western Province Under-19 girls’ team. Then in October 2013, she made her first appearance for the Western Province women’s cricket team against the Boland women’s cricket team in a Twenty20 match, scoring 13 runs off 18 balls.
Additionally, she has been part of the South Africa Under-19 women’s team and was the top scorer in the 2013 Cricket South Africa Under-19 Girls Week. After that, in 2015/16, she was selected for the first time in the South African international team.

After Seeing their consistent good performance in Women’s U-19 cricket and domestic cricket, the South Cricket Board included them in the squad for the first time to play against the England women’s team in the three-match one-day tournament to be held in 2016. And She made their Women’s One Day International debut on 7th February 2016, and in the second match of that series, she scored their maiden half-century.
And Her highest score in an ODI match is 149 runs, which she achieved against Ireland in 2018
After that, In August 2016, she was selected for the South Africa WT20I squad for the series against Ireland, And She made her WT20I debut on 01 August 2016 in the match of IRE WMN vs SA WMN at Dublin. And she has got a chance to play only 64 WT20I Matches so far, In which she scored 1451 runs.
In T20 cricket, her highest score is 66 runs, which she scored against Sri Lanka in 2019.
