MS-W vs PS-W Dream11 Prediction and Match Preview: 1st Semi-Final, WBBL 2020

MS-W vs PS-W Dream11 Team Prediction | 1st Semi-Finals | WBBL 2020

Melbourne Stars Women will take on Perth Scorchers Women in the 1st Semi-Final of WBBL 2020 at North Sydney Oval, Sydney. We will provide MS-W vs PS-W Dream11 Prediction, Probable Playing XI, and Dream11 Tips.

Melbourne Stars Women:

Stars have been performing brilliantly so far as they finished the league stage at the 1st position on the points table with eight wins and three losses and a total of 19 points, including 3 points because of No Result.

Skipper Meg Lanning and Elyse Villani open the innings for the Stars and have been giving a perfect start consistently in almost every match. While Lanning has taken up the aggressive role and scoring runs from the top, Villani has done a great job of not losing her wicket and rotating the strike from the other end.

The middle-order players have been powerful with players like Mignon du Preez, Natalie Sciver, and Annabel Sutherland. At least one of them has been performing brilliantly in every match even though the other two do not get a chance or failed to perform.

Natalie Sciver has been brilliant with her medium-fast bowling in the bowling department and is currently one of the leading wicket-taker so far this season. The leg-break bowler Alana king has also troubled many players with her spin and picked up wickets at crucial times. Sophie Day has also been bowling very well, along with Katherine Ferling and Holly Ferling.

Melbourne Stars Women might have finished at the top of the points table but lost two back-to-back matches at the end of the league stage. So they might be a chance they might be a little low confidence. Still, we can expect a good comeback from them, and they might get into the Finals.

Perth Scorchers Women:

Scorches have performed decently so far as they finished at the 4th position on the points table with six wins and six losses and 14 points, including 2 points because of No Result.

The wicketkeeper-batsman Beth Mooney opens the innings for Scorchers and has been in tremendous form as she is currently the leading run-scorer in this season. The other opener Sophie Devine who also happens to be the team’s skipper, has also been scoring consistently and is the third leading run-scorer so far in this season.

While their opening pair has been one of the best in the tournament, the middle is fragile. Chloe Piparo and Nicole Bolton have not been able to continue the start provided by the openers. The other players did not perform up to the mark in this season.

The bowling department has done a decent job so far as compared to the batting. Spinner Sarah Glenn has been very good with the ball and is the leading wicket-taker for the scorchers so far, and she has been very well accompanied by the medium-paced bowler Taneale Peschel has picked up some crucial wickets.

Heather Graham and the bowling all-rounder Nicole Bolton have performed decently, picking up wickets when required. The Scorchers have struggled in most of the matches, and it would be a very tough task ahead of them to beat the best team in the tournament and enter into the Finals.
