Naman Dhir Biography
Indian cricketer Naman was born on December 31, 1999 in Ambala city, Haryana. Naman Dheer’s father’s name is Naresh Dheer, and Nirupama Dheer is his mother’s name. He is a right-handed middle-order batsman and bowls Right arm Offbreak. And He started playing domestic cricket for Punjab in 2022 with First class of cricket.
Naman Dhir Cricket Career
He started his cricket career at a very young age. After that, Naman represented Punjab at various age levels. Later, Naman Dhir performed very well for Punjab in the Vijay Hazare Trophy 2017-18 and made his first-class debut in the Ranji Trophy 2018-19. In the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy 2019-20, scored a total of 574 runs with a high score of 93 in 14 matches. He became the highest run-scorer for the Punjab team in the tournament.
And then on October 16, 2023, Naman Dhir made his debut in T20 cricket in Ranchi, playing against the Saurashtra team. Naman scored 9 runs in his first T20 match at a strike rate of 180.29. Naman Dhir has played 18 T20 matches so far. In which he has scored a total of 311 runs at a strike rate of 155.50.

Naman Dhir IPL
For the first time, Mumbai Indians bought Naman Dhir for his base price of 30 lakh rupees in the IPL Auction 2024. He made his IPL debut on March 24, 2024 against the Gujarat Titans, scoring 20 runs off 10 balls. Then, the Mumbai Indians brought him back to their team in the IPL 2025 auction using the RTM card, paying a whopping 5.25 crores. And this year also he will be seen playing for Mumbai in IPL.
