NZ vs WI 3rd T20I | Dream11 Prediction | Match Preview | West Indies tour of New Zealand 2020

Hello and welcome to our NZ vs WI Dream11 Prediction, Probable Playing XI, and Fantasy Cricket Tips. New Zealand and West Indies will clash against each other in the 3rd T20I of the series at Bay Oval, Mount Maunganui.

New Zealand:

The New Zealand team has sealed the series by winning the first two matches with a brilliant performance. They were ruthless in the last game as they won the game by 72 runs.

Both the openers Martin Guptill and Tim Seifert gave an excellent start to the team adding 49 runs to the 1st wicket. Still, Seifert got out early, scoring only 18 runs, and Martin Guptill also got out in the very next over after a good inning of 34 runs.

Devon Conway batted brilliantly in the middle order, scoring 65* runs from 37 balls, but the star of the innings was Glenn Phillips, who scored 108 runs from just 51 balls and helped the team to post a massive total of 238 runs in 20 overs.

Except for a couple of bowlers, the New Zealand team’s bowling was on point, and they never allowed the game to slip out of their hands. Kyle Jamieson was brilliant with the ball as he controlled the flow of runs and picked up an early wicket and a wicket in the death.

Lockie Ferguson and Ish Sodhi also bowled a very tight line and lengths and managed to pick up one wicket each and did not conceded many runs. Mitchell Santner was very expensive but managed to pick up two wickets, and so was Tim Southee, who went over ten runs per over in economy but picked up a wicket.

New Zealand would want to continue the winning momentum and target for the whitewash as they have already won the series.

West Indies:

The opposition completely outplayed the West Indies as they were neither able to control the flow of runs nor score the runs freely and, as a result, lost the match by 72 runs.

Almost all the bowlers went for runs and could not pick up enough wickets to control the opposition. Keemo Paul was the most expensive amongst them. Fabian Allen, Kieron Pollard, and Oshane Thomas very expensive but managed to pick up a wicket each.

With a massive target of 239 runs to chase, West Indies had a terrible start as they lost the wickets of Brandon King for a duck and Andre Fletcher for 20 runs in the powerplay. Kieron Pollard and Kyle Mayers tried to play big shots but got out early. Shimron Hetmyer was also very slow in his approach.

On the whole, no player could play a big inning, which cost them the match. West Indies have enough firepower in both batting and bowling line up, but they haven’t delivered at the right time. They would want to play the last T20I of this series, and they might go on to win the match as they have nothing to lose now.
