Shahbaz Ahmed Biography: One of the most famous all-rounder cricketers of the Indian Premier League ‘Shahbaz Ahmed’ was born on 12 December 1994 in the village of Sikarwa in the Mewat district of Haryana. He is mainly known for playing IPL, domestic cricket, and other club cricket. And he plays as an all-rounder in all formats of cricket.
He came into the media headlines when he took 3 wickets for just 17 runs in the 2020 IPL season against the Sunrisers Hyderabad team and also contributed some runs with his batting.

His father’s name is Ahmed Jaan who is a reader of SDM in Haryana and his mother’s name is Shabana Begum who is a housewife and her younger sister’s name is Farheen who is a government doctor.

Shahbaz Ahmed had such a passion for cricket that, When his father used to ask him to study engineering in childhood, then he was saying that he fond of cricket, and due to this hobby, he bunked classes while studying engineering to play cricket. And this information was given by the university to his family members.

Pramod Chandila, a good childhood friend of Shahbaz’s father, took him to Bengal for the first time to play cricket after graduating in engineering. Where Chandila also plays club cricket in Bengal. And from there he started playing club cricket tournaments.
And seeing his good performances in his home club tournament, in the year 2018, he got a chance to play in the Vijay Hazare Trophy for the first time.

He has made his List A debut for the Bengal team in Vijay Hazare Trophy on 20 September 2018 against Jammu & Kashmir team.
And Shahbaz has got a chance to play 26 List-A matches so far in which he has scored 662 runs and also taken 24 wickets.
Shahbaz’s First Class Cricket Debut
He made his debut in first-class cricket on 14 December 2018 against Hyderabad domestic team. And Shahbaz has got a chance to play a total of 16 first-class cricket so far in which he has also taken 45 wickets with 779 runs. And his bowling economy is 2.45 in FC which is very good.
Shahbaz’s T20 cricket debut
At the same time, he made his debut in the short format on 14 February 2019 against the Haryana team, in which he also scored 17 runs for his team by taking 1 wicket.
And he has played a total of 43 T20 matches so far in which he has scored 320 runs at a strike rate of 118 and has also taken 35 wickets with his bowling at 6.58 economy.
Shahbaz Ahmed’s IPL Debut
Shahbaz was first placed in the IPL auction in the year 2020 in which he was included in the Royal Challengers Bangalore team with his base price of 20 lakhs. And he played his IPL debut match against the Rajasthan Royal (RR) team on 17 October 2020.
And since then till now he is part of the RCB team, and he was released in the year 2022 but again he has been included in RCB Team by paying him many times more money (2.40 crores) than his base prices in the IPL Mega auction 2022. And he is also part of the RCB team in the 2022 IPL season.
