Sydney Sixers will take on Melbourne Renegades in the 52nd match of Big Bash League 2019-20 at Sydney Cricket Ground in Sydney. We will provide SIX vs REN Dream11 Prediction, Match Preview, and Probable Playing XI of the game.

In the last encounter between these two teams in this season, Sydney Sixers won the match by 6 wickets.

Sydney Sixers:

Sydney Sixers are having a good time as they are currently at 3rd position on the points table with 8 wins and 4 losses and a total of 17 points.

In the last match, bowling first Sixers started off pretty well as they picked up 3 wickets in the power play for just 36 runs. Even after that they did not allow the opposition to score freely and picked up wickets at regular intervals. Sixers restricted the opposition to a total of 126 runs in 20 overs for the loss of 8 wickets. Tom Curran, Ben Dwarshuis and Jackson Bird bowled brilliantly and picked up 2 wickets each. Steve O’keefe and Nathan Lyon picked up 1 wicket each.

With 127 runs to chase, Josh Philippe and James Vince batted brilliantly by scoring 52* and 51 runs respectively and added 75 runs to the first wicket in 10 overs.  They played sensibly after that and chased down the target within 16 overs and won the match by 8 wickets.

They would be hoping to win the next match against the Melbourne Renegades and get back to the No.2 spot on the points table.

Melbourne Renegades:

The defending champions had a tough time this season and they are out of the competition this season as they are at the bottom of the points table with 2 wins and 10 losses and a total of 4 points.

In the last match, bowling first Renegades gave away 78 runs in the power play and failed to pick up even a single wicket. In the 8th and 11th over they picked up 2 wickets and controlled the flow of runs. They picked up one more wicket in the 15th over and put pressure on the opposition but in the death overs they gave away runs and the opposition scored 190 runs in 20 overs. Cameron Boyce once again bowled brilliantly and picked up 2 wickets for 27 runs in his 4 overs. Mohammed Nabi managed to pick up 1 wicket.

With 191 runs to chase, Renegades lost the wicket of Marcus Harris in 2nd over who scored 2 runs. But after that Shaun Marsh 56 runs from 30 balls and Beau Webster, 50 runs batted brilliantly and steadied the innings. In the death overs, Mohammed Nabi batted destructively and scored 63 runs from 30 balls but got out in the 19th over. They needed 11 runs in the final over but they managed to score only 6 runs and lost the match by 4 runs.

Renegades have nothing to lose here so they would just want to enjoy the remaining matches and hopefully win them.
