SIX vs STR Dream11 Prediction & Player Stats: 11th Match | BBL 2020-21

Hello and welcome to our SIX vs STR Dream11 Prediction, Probable Playing XI, and Fantasy Cricket Tips. Sydney Sixers and Adelaide Strikers will clash against each other in the 11th match of the Big Bash League 2020-21 at Bellerive Oval, Hobart.

Sydney Sixers:

The Sydney Sixers have performed decently so far as they have won 1 out of 2 matches and are currently at 3rd position on the points table with a total of 5 points. In the last game, Sydney Sixers performed brilliantly and won the match comfortably by a massive margin of 145 runs.

Josh Philippe, the opening batsman and also the wicket-keeper of the team, batted exceptionally well but fell just short of 5 runs to a century. In the middle-order, Daniel Hughes and Jordan Silke played quick innings and never let the scoring rate go down. As a result, Sixers posted a massive total of 205 runs.

Defending such a massive total, the bowlers appeared to be in perfect rhythm as they started to pick up wickets from the start of the innings and never allowed the opposition batsmen to settle down. Ben Dwarshius continued his brilliant performance from the first match and picked up 4 wickets in this match, and Steve O’keefe and Carlos Braithwaite well accompanied him.

Sixer would be very high on confidence after their performance in the last match and would want to continue the same thing against the Adelaide Strikers and climb up the points table.

Adelaide Strikers:

The Adelaide Strikers after a disappointing start to the tournament made a good comeback by winning the last match comfortably by five wickets and are currently at the 4th position on the points table with a total of 4 points.

The main reason for their win was the performance of the bowlers because they restricted the opposition to a decent score which helped the batsmen to chase it easily. Except for a couple of bowlers, all others bowled well by picking up wickets and controlling the flow of runs.

Peter Siddle was the star of the match as he picked up a fifer for just 16 runs and was also awarded Man of the match. The other bowlers Wes Agar, Daniel Worrall, and Rashid Khan also bowled tight lines and lengths and troubled the batsmen.

The opening batsman, Phil Salt once again failed to deliver with the bat. Still, his partner Jake Weatherald batted brilliantly scoring an unbeaten half-century, and he was very well accompanied by his skipper Alex Carey who also scored a fifty and made sure that Strikers couldn’t lose the match.

Strikers have been performing decently in their bowling department, but their batting line-up has not been up to the mark, and they need to work on it if they want to win further matches.

The pitch at the Bellerive Oval was a batting paradise last year and will be no different this year. As it is the start of summer in Australia, the pitches are expected to be flat. The pitch has nothing for the bowlers, but the pacers can still use their variations and be vital in the death overs.

Two out of the four matches have been won by the team batting first.
