Indian women’s team’s famous bowling all-rounder player Sneh Rana was born on 18 February 1994 in a farmer family in Sinaula village Dehradun, Uttarakhand. And developed a passion for cricket at an early age. She played her formative cricket in Uttarakhand and later moved to play domestic cricket for Punjab and Railways.
Her impressive performances in domestic tournaments, particularly with her off-spin bowling and lower-order batting, made her a strong contender for the Indian national team.

Sneh started her cricket career with a club tournament and she got a chance to play for her Dehradun team in the Allahabad club tournament for the first time, and at that time she was only 10 years old. Rana performed well in this tournament for which she was given the Women of Series Award.

Sneh Rana began her domestic cricket journey representing Uttarakhand before moving to Punjab and later playing for Railways, one of the strongest domestic teams in Indian women’s cricket.

In 2014, Sneh was selected in the Indian international women’s team for the ODI & T20I Series match against the Sri Lanka Women’s team. She made her One Day debut on 19 January 2014 against the Sri Lanka Women’s team at Visakhapatnam. And in the same series match against she also made her WT20I debut on 26 January 2014.
After that Sneh got hurt during a cricket match in the year 2016, due to which she stayed away from cricket for 5 years. After that, she was again selected for the Indian women’s international cricket team in the Test match against England in the year 2021. And She made her WTest debut on 16 June 2021 against the England women’s national team at Bristol.
