The first match played by Adelaide Strikers was abandoned due to the visibility factor because smog had covered the ground as the second innings was in progress. In the second match, Batting first, Strikers lost an early wicket of Philip Salt in the 1st over. But Jake Weatherald and Matthew Short played brilliantly and steadied the innings. Short got out in the 9th over after scoring34 runs from 22 balls. Later, Alex Carey and Weatherald smashed the bowlers all over the park by scoring 55 runs from 24 balls and 83 runs from 47 balls, respectively. In the end, Jonathan Wells scored 18 runs from 9 balls, and Strikers posted a massive total of 198 runs in 18 overs (Match was reduced to 18 overs due to rain).
