Born on 02 Oct 2001, in Kabul, Afghanistan, his full name is Mohammad Waqar Salamkheil. And he has made significant contributions to Afghan cricket and has become a prominent name in the cricket.
And He made his International cricket debut for the Afghanistan team in March 2019 with Test formats of cricket. Till now, he has got a chance to play only debut matches so far.

He made his T20s debut on 6 October 2018 for Kandahar Knights in the 2018–19 Afghanistan Premier League. and he has got a chance to play only 32 T20s matches so far, In which he has taken 47 wickets with his bowl.
Waqar Salamkheil International Career
After showing his impressive performances in the domestic circuit, he made his Test International debut for Afghanistan on 15 March 2019 against Ireland at at Dehradun. And in March 2021, the Afghanistan Cricket Board confirmed that he was pending selection for the Twenty20 International (T20I) matches against Zimbabwe, But he has not got a chance to made his T20 International debut due some visa issues.
