REN vs THU Dream11 Prediction & Player Stats: 22nd Match | BBL 2020-21

Hello and welcome to our REN vs THU Dream11 Prediction, Probable Playing XI, and Fantasy Cricket Tips. Melbourne Renegades vs Sydney Thunder will play against each other in the 22nd match of the Big Bash League 2020-21 at Carrara Oval, Queensland.

Melbourne Renegades:

The Melbourne Renegades are having a tough time this season also as they have won only one out of five matches and are currently at the 7th position on the points table with a total of 4 points. They lost their last game by two wickets.

Opening batsman Shaun Marsh after the first match played well once again in the last game scoring a half-century, and skipper Aaron Finch has also been batting decently but has not been able to play a big inning so far. Except for one match, Sam Harper and Rilee Rossouw have not been able to score runs in the middle order.

One of the best all-rounders in the T20 format, Mohammad Nabi has also not been able to play big shots down the order, and as a result, the batting unit of the team except for the opening pair is a complete mess.

The bowlers have finally performed well in the last match but were not able to win the game. Kane Richardson is the only bowler in the team who has been consistently picking up wickets in every match. But in the last match, Imad and Nabi also bowled very well and picked up two wickets.

Renegades need to improve their performance on the whole before it’s too late and need to start winning matches from now on or else it will be tough for them in the future.

Sydney Thunder:

The Sydney Thunder are having a good time so far as they have won 4 out of 5 matches and are currently at 2nd position on the points table with a total of 15 points. In the last game, Sydney Thunder performed well and won the match comfortably by a margin of 75 runs.

Alex Hales and Usman Khawaja are back in-form and have played very aggressively in the last two matches. Hales scored a fifty from just 21 balls, and Khawaja also batted decently in the previous game. Skipper Ferguson, as usual, batted decently and he too scored a half-century.

Oliver Davies after two brilliant performances failed in the last match and Billings who was playing his first match of the season also got out early. Ben Cutting and Chris Green scored some quick runs and helped the Thunder post a massive total of 219 runs.

The bowlers performed and never gave the opposition any chance to get back into the match and got them all-out for 144 runs. Tanveer Sangha continued his excellent form from the previous game and picked up two wickets, and Tremain also managed to pick up two wickets.

The innings star was Chris Green as he managed to pick up four wickets with a decent economy rate.

Thunder has won four matches consecutively, and they would want to continue their streak by winning against Renegades and get on top of the points table.
