Anshul Kamboj was born on 6 December 2000 in Karnal, Haryana, India. Standing at 1.89 meters, he is a right-handed batter and a right-arm medium-fast bowler. He developed his cricketing skills in Haryana’s domestic circuits before making his professional debut.​

Domestic Career

Kamboj made his first-class debut for Haryana on 17 February 2022 in the 2021–22 Ranji Trophy. He debuted in Twenty20 cricket on 22 October 2022 during the 2022–23 Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy and played his first List A match on 15 November 2022 in the 2022–23 Vijay Hazare Trophy.​

In the 2023–24 Vijay Hazare Trophy, Kamboj took 17 wickets in 10 matches, playing a significant role in Haryana’s title win. His performances earned him a spot in the 2024–25 Duleep Trophy, where he represented India C and took 16 wickets in 3 matches at an average of 17.12, earning the Player of the Tournament award.​

In November 2024, Kamboj achieved a historic feat by taking all 10 wickets in an innings for Haryana against Kerala in the Ranji Trophy, becoming only the third bowler to do so in the tournament’s history
