Asia Cup 2023 Schedule: The 2023 Asia Cup, the 16th edition of the continental tournament, will be jointly hosted by Pakistan and Sri Lanka from 30th August 2023 till 17th September 2023. On this occasion, the tournament will be played in the ODI format instead of the T20 format. A total of 13 matches will be played, of which four will take place in Pakistan, while the nine remaining matches will be held in Sri Lanka.
India is placed in Group A alongside Pakistan and Nepal, whereas Group B consists of defending champions Sri Lanka, Afghanistan and Bangladesh. India vs Pakistan, the most-awaited match of the tournament, will be played on 2nd September in Kandy, Sri Lanka, instead of Pakistan, as Team India hasn’t played on neighbouring soil since 2008, citing security concerns. The tournament is divided into two stages, i.e., the Group Stage and the Super Four. The top 2 teams in each group will qualify for the Super Four stage, and the top 2 teams of the Super Four stage will face each other in the Final on 17th September at R. Premadasa Stadium in Colombo.
