Asitha Fernando is a Sri Lankan international fast bowler cricket player, and he started playing under-19s cricket for Sri Lankan under 19s team in the year 2015, he was also part of the 2016 Under-19 Cricket World Cup, And then, in the year 2017, For the first time he was selected for the Sri Lankan international team for ODI Squad. And Fernando is part of all three formats of international cricket.
Fernando has played for Chilaw Marians in country club cricket/domestic cricket since 2016, while he has represented the Galle Gladiators team in the Sri Lankan Premier League franchise cricket since 2020.
