In the inaugural season of the Indian Women’s Premier League in 2023, Beth Mooney was bought by the Gujarat Giants (GG) for a hefty price of 2 crore rupees. She was also made the captain of the team that same year, but she was able to play only a few WPL matches that year due to an injury. She was then retained for the 2024 season of the WPL.
