CPL 2021 Schedule | Caribbean Premier League start date
The Caribbean stars will be seen in the Caribbean Premier League which is set to start from 26th August 2021. The CPL 2021 Schedule has been reduced to just 21 days this season so that the players can join the second phase of IPL 2021 which is expected to begin from the 3rd week of September.
The whole tournament is expected to be played only at one venue that is the Warner Park. It is going to be a very tight schedule for players with very little rest between the games. The first game will see Guyana Amazon Warriors and Trinbago Knight Riders in action. There is not even a one-day rest between the semi-finals and finals.
What’s been said so far?
- All the 33 matches are expected to happen only at a single venue that is the Warner Park, St Kitts & Nevis.
- The tournament will played in double-header format and also the last day of the group stage games as a triple-header.
- The West Indies Cricket Board has reduced the tournament to just 21 days so that the players can join the second phase of the IPL in September.
- The players will have very little rest between the games.
CPL 2021 Schedule:
CPL 2021 is set to start on 26th August 2021 and the Final will be played on 15th September 2021. All 33 games of the tournament will be played at Warner Park, St Kitts & Nevis.
