IPL Auction Date, Time & Place

The Indian Premier League 2024 auction is going to take place on Saturday, December 19. And this year’s IPL auction will be held outside India for the first time, And it will be held at the Coca-Cola Arena in Dubai in which a total of 10 franchises will bid for a total of 77 player slots. And its live telecast will be done from 1 pm onwards.

And In the IPL 2024 Auction, A total of 405 players will participate in this mini auction, of which 273 are Indian and 132 are foreign players. However, players will be bidding only for 77 slots in the auction. A total amount of Rs 262.95 crore is in the purse for this auction by all the 10 IPL franchises.

There will be 116 ‘capped’ and 215 ‘uncapped’ (those who have not played any international match) players in the auction. The sixteenth phase of IPL is likely to be held on March 31 this year. Whose all matches will be organized in Mumbai, Bangalore, and many other venues.
