Suryakumar Yadav becomes the first Indian batsman to score a century in South Africa

As you all know that, At present, a series of three T20I, Two Test and three ODI matches is going to play between South Africa and India, in which 3rd T20I match was played on 14 December,
In which Surya Kumar Yadav scored a brilliant century in just 56 balls with the help of 8 sixes and 7 fours. After which he became the first Indian batsman to score a T20I century in South Africa.

After losing the toss and coming to bat first, Team India’s 2 wickets fell till the score of 29, And Keshav Maharaj showed the way to the pavilion on consecutive balls to Shubman Gill (12) and Tilak Verma (0).

Then, Yashasvi Jaiswal (60) and captain Suryakumar Yadav added 112 runs for the third wicket. During this period, Jaiswal faced 41 balls and hit 6 fours and 3 sixes. This partnership was broken by Tabrez Shamsi in the 14th over of the innings by taking wicket of Jaiswal.

India gave target of 201 runs to South Africa

And In this 3rd T20I match played between South Africa and India, the Indian team, batting first, set a target of 201 runs in front of the South African team, in which India’s opener Jaspal scored 60 runs in 41 balls, while Surya scored 100 runs in 56 balls with the help of 8 sixes at a strike rate of 178, and then fell victim to Lizaad Williams‘ ball

Suryakumar became the first Indian batsman To Score T20I hundred in South Africa

Suryakumar Yadav has become the first Indian batsman to score a century on South African soil. Before Surya, no Indian batsman had scored a century in this format. Surya along with Yashasvi Jaiswal made a quick partnership of 112 runs for the third wicket, due to which the Indian team was successful in scoring 201 runs on the score board after losing 7 wickets.

BCCI has also congratulated Suryakumar Yadav on his century by tweeting and BCCI wrote “There is no stopping @surya_14kumar! Mr. 360 brings up his 4th T20I century in just 55 balls with 7×4 and 8×6. The captain is leading from the front!”

Also made the record of most centuries in T20Is

And with this century, he broke the record of Rohit Sharma and made the record of most centuries in T20Is with 4 centuries, and before this, Australian all-rounder cricket player Glenn Maxwell and Rohit Sharma scored four centuries each in T20 international cricket.
