Meghna Singh biography: Indian female cricket player Meghna Singh, who has traveled from booking clerk in the railway department to female international cricket team, was born on 18 June 1994 in Bijnor district of Uttar Pradesh. And she is a medium pacer bowler who is known for playing women’s international cricket and domestic cricket.

In Meghna’s family, apart from her parents, she has a total of four sisters and one brother, and Meghna is the eldest among them. And her father’s name is Vijayveer Singh who is a security guard and her mother’s name is Asha Singh, who is a housewife, her grandfather Prempal Singh is a retired police personnel.
Meghna’s selection in the Department of Railway
Since childhood, Meghna was good in education, that’s why she was selected in the Railway Department in the year 2014 and was posted as Booking Clerk in Moradabad Railway Department. And she continued to play cricket while doing her job and as a result of this she is part of the women’s international cricket team today.

After that Meghna made her Test debut on 30 September 2021 against the Australia women’s team. And she did well in her first Test debut match.
Selection in World Cup team
After that, she was selected for India’s Women’s Cricket World Cup team in January 2022 and was part of the ICC Indian Women’s World Cup 2022 main squad team.
