Indian spin cricketer Saika Ishaque was born on October 8, 1995, in Kolkata, Bengal, India. She started playing international cricket in December 2023 and is only part of the T20I and women’s ODI formats of international cricket.
Ishaq grew up in a slum in Kolkata and started playing cricket at a young age. Her father, who passed away when She was just 12 years old,

Saika started playing cricket at a young age, just 12-13 years old, and played for the Under-16 and Under-23 Bengal teams. She was also part of the winning team of the BCCI Under-23 Women’s One-Day Trophy.

If we talk about Ishaque’s WPL team and career, then she was selected in the Mumbai Indian Women’s team with INR 10 Lakhs, and She made her WPL debut on 06 March 2023 while playing against Royal Challengers Bangalore Women, In which she took two wickets in her four overs spell. She dominated in her first WPL season itself. She took 9 wickets in 8 matches at an economy rate of just 5.80.
Then, She was re-contracted by the Mumbai Indians Women’s team for the 2024 season.
