And She is a professional English cricketer known for her exceptional leg-spin bowling and impactful performances in white-ball cricket. She plays as a bowling all-rounder for the England Women’s Cricket Team and has become one of the most talented spinners in modern women’s cricket.

Sarah Glenn comes from a cricket-loving family. Her mother’s name is Tess Glenn, while her sister, Hannah Glenn, has also played county cricket for Derbyshire. Her family played an important role in developing her cricketing skills. Her uncle, Michael Glenn, was a professional cricket player who represented Derbyshire in the 1970s, making cricket a strong part of her family heritage.

She began her professional cricket career at a young age, rising through the domestic ranks in England. She first played county cricket for Derbyshire Women, where her leg-spin bowling quickly gained attention. Her consistent performances earned her a call-up to the national side, and she made her Women’s One Day International debut on December 9, 2019, in the match between England Women and Pakistan Women at Kuala Lumpur.

In the same series match, she also made her WT20I debut on December 17, 2019, also against Pakistan Women at Kuala Lumpur. Till now, she has got a chance to play 73 WT20I Matches so far, in which she has taken 89 wickets by giving runs at an economy of 6.05.

Glenn made her debut in the Women’s Big Bash League (WBBL) during the 2020–21 season, where she first played for the Perth Scorchers. Her performance in the league was impressive, as she quickly adapted to Australian conditions and became known for her sharp leg-spin and wicket-taking ability.

After her first stint in the WBBL, she continued to develop as a T20 specialist and later returned to the league, signing as an international replacement player for the Brisbane Heat in the 2023–24 WBBL season. Currently, she plays for Brisbane Heat Women in WBBL 2025.
