The first ODI between Sri Lanka and Scotland was abandoned due to rain and there is a high chance of Rain to disturb second ODI also.
Team Sri Lanka will play their last ODI before World Cup’19 and will hope to gain much-needed confidence defeating Scotland. Led by new skipper Dimuth Karunaratne, Sri Lanka have a well-balanced squad containing quality batsmen in form of Kusal Perera, Kusal Mendis, and Angelo Mathews along with hard-hitting allrounders like Thisara Perera and Isuru Udana supplementing pace attack led by Lasith Malinga. They will be determined to cover all the bases and prepare well for World Cup 2019 by giving a tough challenge to Scotland team at their home ground.
Scotland is a good performing associate side and has enough firepower in their squad capable to challenge any top team on their day. Calum Macleod, Kyle Coetzer, George Munsey, and Matthew Cross are the pillars of their batting department while Safyaan Sharif, Alistair Evans and Mark Watt are their key bowlers. They will miss the services of their star allrounder Richie Berrington who is ruled out for four weeks due to fracture. They will hope to prove their talent and come all guns blazing against Sri Lanka.
