STR vs HUR Dream11 Prediction & Player Stats: 5th Match | BBL 2020-21

Hello and welcome to our STR vs HUR Dream11 Prediction, Probable Playing XI, and Fantasy Cricket Tips. Adelaide Strikers and Hobart Hurricanes will clash against each other in the 5th match of the Big Bash League 2020-21 at Bellerive Oval, Hobart.

Adelaide Strikers:

The Adelaide Strikers have a decent record in BBL as they managed to win the title once and qualified for the playoffs four times out of nine seasons. In the least season, they finished at the 3rd position of the points table and were knocked out in the Knock Out Final.

The veteran right-arm fast bowler Peter Siddle will lead the side in the absence of Travis Head, who is not available due to National Duties. They have a perfect batting pair in the form of Phil Salt and Jake Weatherald, who score runs quickly in the powerplay and put pressure on the opposition right from the innings’ start.

In the middle-order, they have Matt Renshaw, who will be playing his 1st match for the Strikers, and one of the experienced players in the squad, Jon Wells, who will also play a crucial role in the middle order.

The bowling also looks strong with Peter Siddle and Daniel Worrall, who bowls at a perfect pace and pick up wickets consistently. They have a world-class leg spinner, Rashid Khan, who is good at picking up wickets and controls the flow of runs.

Strikers appear to be a very balanced team with some match-winners in the squad, and they will give a tough competition to all the teams this season.

Hobart Hurricanes:

The Hobart Hurricanes had a good start to their team as they won their 1st match quite comfortably by 16 runs.

In their first match, they were put to bat first, and they had a terrible start as they lost both their openers for zero runs. But Colin Ingram’s 55 runs from 42 balls and Tim David’s 58 runs from just 33 balls helped Hurricanes post a good total on the board. Moreover, Tim David was awarded Man of the Match for his performance with the bat.

The bowlers bowled very well, defending the total, and except for a couple of bowlers, all the others bowled well and did not allow the opposition to score freely. James Faulkner and Riler Meredith bowled well by picking up 2 wickets each and controlled the runs’ flow.

Hurricanes have some outstanding players both in the batting and bowling department, and it won’t be easy for any team to defeat them. They would want to continue their winning momentum by winning their 2nd match.
