A total of 165 players will be included in the Women’s Premier League (WPL) auction. The second edition of WPL will be held in February March next year. And the BCCI said in a press release issued on Saturday, “Out of these 165 players, 104 players are from India and 61 players are from foreign countries.” Among the foreign players, 15 players are from associate countries.

And there are a total of 56 players who have played international cricket while 109 players do not have the experience of playing international cricket. According to the BCCI press release, “There are a maximum of 30 places vacant in all the five teams, out of which 9 places are for foreign players.”
