WPL 2024 Auction Date: The date of Tata Women’s Premier League 2024 auction has been announced by BCCI. This year, the auction of players for the Women’s Premier League will be held on 9 December 2023 in Mumbai. WPL 2024 Auction Date

As you all know that on the lines of IPL, Women’s Premier League has been started by BCCI in the year 2023, And the biggest achievement of the Women’s Premier League 2023 was that many big players from all over the world participated in the very first season of this league.

And WPL 2023 season also ended well, In which Mumbai Indians team won the title of the first season of Women’s IPL by defeating Delhi Capitals by 7 wickets.

And in the year 2024, Again WPL will be organized in February and March months. And This year the auction for WPL 2024 will be held on 9 December 2023 in Mumbai city. In which you will again see many women players from India and abroad participating for the 2024 Women’s Premier League.

WPL Auction Indian and foreign players List

A total of 165 players will be included in the Women’s Premier League (WPL) auction. The second edition of WPL will be held in February March next year. And the BCCI said in a press release issued on Saturday, “Out of these 165 players, 104 players are from India and 61 players are from foreign countries.” Among the foreign players, 15 players are from associate countries.

And there are a total of 56 players who have played international cricket while 109 players do not have the experience of playing international cricket. According to the BCCI press release, “There are a maximum of 30 places vacant in all the five teams, out of which 9 places are for foreign players.”
