Riyan Parag (born 10 November 2001) is an Indian Cricketer who plays for Assam in Domestic Cricket and Rajasthan Royals in the IPL.

|After scoring 207 runs against England in the two matches on his debut in the Under-19 Youth Test series, he got an opportunity to represent the country in the Youth ODI for the 2018 Under-19 Cricket World Cup.

Riyan Parag Domestic Career
Parag made his first-class debut for Assam when he was just 16 in the 2017-18 Ranji Trophy. Before his first class debut, He had already represented Assam in the 2016-17 Inter State Twenty 20 tournament on January 29, 2017.
After his impressive performances in the domestic performances he was picked up in the Under-19 World Cup Squad that eventually won the tournament.
After his successful World Cup outing, he was picked for the two-match test series against England. He did not disappoint the selectors and scored three half-centuries, including consecutive fifties in both the innings of the first test.
Parag is currently the most established player for Assam in the domestic circuit and is a player to watch out for in the future.
Riyan Parag IPL Career
After some consistent performances in the domestic and Under-19 level. Parag was picked up by the Rajasthan Royals for the 2018 IPL season for his base price of Rs.20 lakh.
In the next season that is the 2019 IPL season, Parag scored his maiden half century, leaving behind Sanju Samson and Prithvi Shaw. He totally played 7 matches in that season and scored 160 runs in total.
In the 2020 IPL season, Parag again proved his worth when he alongside Rahul Tewatia led his team to the victory against Sunrisers Hyderabad by scoring 42 runs off 26 balls.
Parag will certainly be a crucial player in the coming years for the Royals as well as for the country as he has a achieved a lot at a very young age.
- Parag scored 202 runs in one of the domestic games in 2016-17 which impressed all.
- He also holds the record for the fastest half century in the youth test.
- Later, in the Under-19 Challenger Trophy, Parag scored 207 runs in just 4 innings.
