A rising star in Indian women’s cricket Sayali Satghare was born on 2 July 2000 in Mumbai, India, And she is a right-handed batter and a right-arm off-break bowler. And Sayali earned her spot in the national team after performing consistently in the domestic circuit. She made her One Day International (ODI) debut for India against Ireland on January 10, 2025, in Rajkot.

Sayali Satghare Cricket Career

Satghare began her domestic career with the Mumbai women’s cricket team, making her List A debut on November 15, 2015, against Punjab in the Senior Women’s One Day League.

She debuted in the Twenty20 format on October 14, 2019, facing Tripura in the Senior Women’s T20 Trophy. Her first-class debut came on March 28, 2024, representing West Zone against Central Zone in the Senior Women’s Inter Zonal Multi-Day Trophy.

A highlight of her domestic career was scoring an unbeaten century against Arunachal Pradesh in the 2023–24 Senior Women’s One-Day Trophy.

In February 2024, Satghare was signed by the Gujarat Giants for the Women’s Premier League (WPL) as a replacement for the injured Kashvee Gautam, at a reserve price of ₹10 lakh.

She made history by becoming the first player to make her WPL debut as a concussion substitute, replacing Dayalan Hemalatha.

International Career

Satghare received her maiden call-up to the Indian national team in October 2024 for an ODI series against New Zealand but did not feature in any matches.

She was later included in the squad for the ODI series against Ireland and made her international debut on January 10, 2025, in Rajkot. In that match, she claimed her first international wicket by dismissing Arlene Kelly.
