SL vs WI Dream11 Team Prediction, Preview | World Cup 2019

Sri Lanka and West Indies will face-off in the 39th match of World Cup’19 at Riverside Ground in Chester-le-Street. We will provide SL vs WI Dream11 Team Prediction, Preview and Probable Playing XI for the match.

Sri Lanka:

Sri Lanka is seventh on the points table with two wins in seven matches and has a slight chance to make it to semis by winning the remaining two matches and hope other results go in their way. Their batsmen have failed to perform consistently while bowlers except Malinga have been unable to chip in with regular wickets. They will expect a unison effort from all players tomorrow in order to defeat the West Indies team.

In the last encounter, They lost to South Africa by 9 wickets. Batting first, Kusal Perera and Avishka Fernando failed to capitalize after getting a start and could score only 30 runs each. No other batsmen were able to play a good knock and thus could score only 203 runs. In defence, Lasith Malinga was the sole positive taking one scalp but could not save his team from a disappointing nine-wicket loss.

West Indies:

West Indies have many memorable moments in World Cup 2019 but have failed to win matches and are ninth on the points table with one win and five losses. They are unlikely to make it to the semi’s now but will be eager to upset the chances of other teams in remaining encounters. Injury to Andre Russell and Evin Lewis has further impacted their team combination. The onus will be on Chris Gayle, Pooran, Hetmyer, Holder, Brathwaite, and Cottrell to lead the team from the front and defeat Sri Lanka team.

In the last encounter, They lost to India by 125 runs. Bowling first, Kemar Roach bowled good spell taking three wicket-haul while Cottrell and Holder took two scalps each to restrict India at 268. In the chase, Windies line-up collapsed miserably and could only score 143 runs. Sunil Ambris and Nicholas Pooran were only able to score few runs in losing cause for their team.

A good contest can be expected between both teams.
