The Brisbane Heat has a Big Bash title to their name, but that was way back in the 2nd season. Their performance has not been up to the mark as they have not been able to qualify for the past three seasons. Heat would be hoping to perform better this year and try to qualify for the playoffs.
The destructive batsman Chris Lynn will be leading the side and will also be opening for the team. There are not many star players in the squad that has been announced for this match, but there are players who can win the match for them.
Max Bryant is also an excellent striker of the ball who will probably open the innings alongside Chris Lynn, and Ben Laughlin is the only experienced bowler in the side who is capable of picking up wickets consistently.
Most of their star players have left the squad this year, and so it is still not so clear how they will be performing in this season.
