IND Vs ENG U19: Along with the senior Men’s team and the Women’s Team of the Men in Blue, India’s under-19 boys are also on the tour of England in 2025. The young guns of India have started their tour with a win in the first match of this five match series of the One Day International form of the game.
India and England’s under 19 team played the first fifty overs match in County Ground at Hove. The Under 19 Men of Indian cricket are also set to play a series of the red ball form of the game, along with four more matches of the One Day International format will be played as well.

England won the toss and chose to bowl first in the first ODI game versus India’s Under 19 side. The home side could amass just 174 runs on the scoreboard and they didn’t bat for the whole fifty overs as well. England’s Under 19 side could hold their innings for just 42.2 overs, and that was mainly because of the collective efforts with the white cherry in hand.
Kanishk Chouhan was the top wicket taker for India Under 19 team in the first One Day International match of this five match series. He picked up three wickets to his name, which was the most by any Indian bowler. Alongside Chouhan, Mohammed Eshan, RS Amrish, and Henil Patel picked up two scalps each to their names.

India’s young raising star Vaibhav Suryavanshi had made a big name during the TATA IPL 2025 season for the Rajasthan Royals. He also scored a century in this season, which made him the youngest batter to score a hundred in the Indian Premier League. Vaibhav also won the award for Super Striker of The season in the 18th edition.
For the India Under-19 side as well, Suryavanshi showed his class in a run chase of a smallish total of 175 runs. Suryavanshi and skipper Ayush Mahtre gave India Under 19 team a solid start of 71 runs to start the run chase on a good note. But Vaibhav was the first one to depart for 48 runs.
India’s Under-19 side lost three more wickets after that. But still they ended up winning this game by six wickets and the visitors also go 1-0 up in this five match series of the One Day International series. The second match of this ODI series will be played on Wednesday, 2nd July 2025 at the County Ground in Northampton.
